Take A Stroll...

Fall is here and you are invited to join the Gregg County Historical Museum for the first Downtown Historic Longview Walking Tour, 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m., Saturday, October 3rd. The tour groups, limited to nine people, and their docent will depart from the museum every thirty minutes where they will have the opportunity to visit some of the Historic sites in downtown Longview. The 1.2 mile trek will visit the Gregg County Historical Museum, U.S Post Office, Petroleum Building/Alton Plaza, Gregg County Court House, First Presbyterian Church, Central Fire Station, Tyler Street, R. Lacy, Inc., Vera Bank, and Bank Alley. Please call the museum at (903)754-5840 or email events@gregghistorical.org to reserve your time. Once you reserve your tour time, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to pay. All tour payments must be made in full by October 1st to ensure your tour time.
