CHARTER BUS TOUR

Landmarks of Longview, an annual architectural home tour, is an event allowing visitors to tour homes with varying architectural styles. In keeping with the museum's mission to educate in an enjoyable and entertaining atmosphere, Landmarks has become one of our most well attended events over the years. One of the most important elements of the tour is the opportunity to help conserve our city's architectural legacy through historic preservation. The tour attracts people from Longview and surrounding areas, including builders, architects and interior designers. At times, some of the original architects of featured homes have been in attendance, adding another interesting dimension to the tour. Our brochures describe the unique features of each home, its architectural style and the architect or designer of each residence. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $25 in advance online and at the Gregg County Historical Museum.
